Deviation Actions
-Ross' POV-
"So Ross, when do you want to go on that date?"
"Woah, you two-"
"Shut up Tim, I'm talking to Ross."
We were all sitting at the kitchen table the next morning, eating some pancakes and bacon Tim had made.
"U-Um, I'm not sure. Saturday night maybe, since we have Sunday off?"
Saturday was in a few days, and it seemed like the best time to go.
"Sure!"
I finish eating, then start to get ready to head to work. It's Max's turn to drive, so I sit up front with him while Tim sits in the back. The whole drive I had my hand on top of his free hand, while Tim sat there and teased us.
Finally, we arrive at work, but are greeted with surprise.
"MAX! ROSS! TIM!"
"Hey Jess!"
I give her a hug, since I hadn't actually seen here in awhile.
"So, how are you guys? What's new?"
I look at Max, who looked unsure of what to say. I tug on his shirt, trying to get him to say something.
"U-Uh, we're good! Nothing too exciting has happened lately. How are you?"
Good call Max.
"Everything is wonderful! I thought I'd come visit you guys and hang out! Man, I missed you all."
That day, Adam, Barney and I were supposed to record the lego challenge video, and now Jess was here to witness it.
As I enter the room and see the pile of legos, I start to grow nervous.
"U-Um, I'm not sure if I want to do this anymore."
"Come on Ross, we aren't going to do this with two people." Barney says, dragging me over to the pile.
As everyone is setting up, I take a peek at the slips of paper inside of the hat which had the things we had to do in the challenge.
On all fours? Crawling? Jumping?
"Okay guys, let's get started. Hey guys, Sky here, and welcome to the-" Adam starts doing the inteo, dragging me and Barney to the center of the frame.
"W-Wait!"
"What Ross?"
"I... really don't want to do this. I can't do this." I run over to Max, grabbing his arm.
"Who's going to fill in for him then? Jess?"
"HAHAHA, NO."
"...Max?"
I look up at Max, who had a disappointed look on his face.
"Fine. Only because it's Ross."
I let go of Max, and he heads over to where Adam and Barney are standing. He winks at me, then they get ready to start recording.
"Damn Ross, who would have though in a million years that Max would do that." Jess tells me as she walks over to me.
Oh right... she doesn't know.
"He knows that I don't like to be in pain."
"Hmm... I see. Hehehe..."
"Jess, you're scaring me."
"Quiet you two, we're starting!" Cory tells us, as he is positioning his camera.
"Hey guys, Sky here! Today we are doing... the lego challenge."
Barney and Max sigh, as Adam looks down at the floor.
"Ross was supposed to be with us, but Max is going to take his place."
The cringe filled challenge starts. They take turns pulling the actions out of the hat, and Barney even starts bleeding. It's only when Max starts bleeding that I start to get really concerned.
After the video is over, I immediately rush over to Max. He pulls his pant leg up, and I see that he had partially cut open his wound from his knee, and I start to panic.
"D-Does it hurt?!" I ask, nearly in tears. There was a lot of blood. This was all my fault.
"Like fucking hell. Shit, I need to sit down."
I grab a chair and rush it over to him, then send Jess to grab some sort of bandage. She comes back with some gauze, and I proceed to wrap it around his knee.
"Thanks man... I'm going to get this cleaned up. Can you help me?"
I help Max up, then let him lean on me as we head to the bathroom. I watch as he washes up, then I grab another bandage and help him put it on.
"Can you walk?" I ask, as he gets down from the counter.
"Yeah, it just hurts like fucking hell. I want to go sit down at my desk."
"Are you sure-"
"Yeah."
"I'm so sorry... This is my fault."
"Hey, don't worry about it. I'd rather be in this situation then watch you be in it."
As we head to his desk, I watch as he struggles to walk. I wanted to cry. He must be in so much pain, but he insisted that he didn't need help.
It was nearly lunch, so I decide to grab Max some food.
-Jess' POV-
After the whole Max re-opening his wound situation, I was starting to get a bit suspicious of the two. They were acting awfully friendly. Max usually just flips Ross off and tells him to suck it up, but he was the complete opposite now.
"Pssst Adam, Ross and Max are acting really weird." I enter Adam's office, where he was setting up to record a video.
"What do you mean?" He turns his chair towards me with a smirk on his face.
"Uh, they're being awfully affectionate. WAIT, ARE THEY-" Before I can finish my sentence, Adam puts his hand on my mouth.
"Shhh, we don't want the whole world to know... I mean, uh, shit. They were supposed to tell you."
"Ohmygodmyshiphassailedohmygod" I whisper, jumping up and down in excitement.
"Remember, you didn't hear anything from me. Anything."
"Okay okay. I'm going to go bug them now."
I exit Adam's office, then head over to Max's desk. Ross was sitting next to him, as they both ate lunch.
"Hey guys, what's up?"
I must have scared Ross, because he nearly fell out of his chair.
"O-Oh hi Jess! Oh nothing."
"I see... Max, how's your wound?"
"It's doing better, Ross helped me fix it up."
"I see..." I start to laugh, which turns out sounding quite creepy.
"Jess, you're scaring me." Max turns away from his computer and faces me.
"Sorry. Just wanted to check on you guys. Have fun~"
I slowly back away, while Ross and Max stare at me with confused faces.
"Hey Jess, I have something to tell you." Ross says, grabbing Max's hand.
"Ooh, do you now."
"Y-Yea... we're dating."
I nearly scream, but stop myself.
"I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT I KNEW IT!" I squeal.
Then Max kisses Ross on the cheek, and I actually scream this time.
